Petition Signing Day

The Visa Abolishment Campaign is moving on! At this very moment, the Citizens' Pact for South Eastern Europe is organizing the Petition Signing Day. At 18 October, there will be activities, for which we asked the help of all of you. Not only members of the Citizens' Pact are invited to join, but everyone who wants to supports the Citizens' Pact Visa Campaign initiative! The activities are planned to be on the same day throughout the whole South Eastern Europe. The simultaneous signing will have a special effect which will focus the attention on the engagement of all countries in the region considering visa problems. Activities can be anything, the location can be anywhere. The main thing is to attract the attention of people and make them sign petitions!

So far, we have asked our members for their contribution and we have had some twenty reactions throughout the whole regions. Countries which are participating are Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia and Albania. We are still working on involving more countries from the region

The list which now follows includes every activity members suggested so far;

We have asked these members to decide upon their activity before the 10th of October. As the list shows, activities do not have to be very complicated. To have petition signing in the main streets of a city is always a nice way to collect petitions. We fully support the initiative of members to combine the Petition Signing with already existing activities, like the festival in Mitrovica. Furthermore, we are very happy with all the reactions. To see what kind of activities will be organized, just keep an eye on out website!
